Watershed Analysis is greatly aided by today's sophisticated aerial photography, GPS and GIS tools. IRZ's multi-platform cameras and experienced team of pilots, experts and technologists can assess a watershed quickly and inexpensively.
A Thermal Infrared camera measures river temperature; video and/or infrared cameras measure the riparian zone vegetation; all images are tagged with GPS coordinates; and then, special software can analyze the video data live & incorporate it with the GIS software.
Problem areas can be identified quickly. This service is ideal for developing baselines, developing action plans, tracking changes & improvements and/or understanding watersheds.
